1/28/2024 0 Comments Wow level squishHence the ease of pumping levels, heirloom gear, etc. It's not really a fair comparison from the get-go, as BfA WoW is presuming players have already DONE the original content, at least once, by now. I saw a video the other day where someone was comparing an hour of Classic, and an hour of a new toon made in BfA, and thought the BfA version to be too easy, and not nearly as engaging. Like was said, you buy a new xpac, you already get a token to boost you to whatever level enters the newest content, so it's not like you're starting from 1. Want to make it take longer to get through content, then make it harder to level, and place raids/dungeons behind minimum level requirements. If it took you as long to go from 110-112 as it does to go from friendly to honored with a faction, how would you feel about that? You'd have a whole bunch of whiny people crying they can't hit max lvl in a day. Maybe all they need to do is make leveling harder through the current xpac content, kinda like rep is. I think the level system is fine as is, and yes, we can steamroll through a 10 lvl cap in short order, it gives you a sense of accomplishment. But honestly, I feel like I'm going to end up letting that run out and walking away again.after I cash out my gold for tokens. Looks like 8.2 will be out in a few weeks so I'll use my blizz balance to buy 30 days of game time. I keep up with the news on MMO and a few youtube channels, but I've even found myself scaling back from that as well. I've been unsubbed since February and so far I really haven't missed it. They've also got to get a handle on the runaway ilevel gearing. I'm talking about the Garrison, Artifact weapons and Heart Of Azeroth. They have got to stop introducing cornerstone ideas of an expansion that are pretty much useless once the next expansion comes out. I think there are SO many things broken in WoW that unless they come up with a damn good plan of execution, this will just break EVEN more things. The other half are quick to point out that the XP per level will probably be adjusted. Half the people on MMO are excited about only having to level through (presumably) 60 levels vs. Personally, I'd like to see more information about the proposed changes. One of many sites indicating blizzard is looking for feedback on how players feel about the upcoming (sounds like done deal) level squish: ยป
